Chryso Heracleous

Chryso Heracleous, Architect Engineer, MSc, PhD. Chryso Heracleous is a senior research fellow at Energy and Environmental Design of Buildings Research Lab and seasonal lecturer of the Department of Architecture at University of Cyprus. She holds a Diploma in Architecture Engineering from the University of Patras (Greece), a Master’s at Environmental Design from the University of Bath (UK), a PhD in Architecture from the University of Cyprus and she is Certified Passivhaus Designer from the Passivhaus Institut in Germany. Her research interests include: architectural building technology, environmental design and energy performance of buildings focusing on energy saving and improvement of human comfort, health and productivity. During her studies, she was awarded numerous academic performance distinctions and scholarships. Since 2013, she participated in several research programmes funded by the European Commission, and the Research Promotion Foundation of Cyprus. Her research work has been published in peer-reviewed Journals and International Conferences proceedings.
