Andreas Kyriakidis

Civil Engineer, Dipl.-Ing. (M.Eng.), M.Sc.

Andreas Kyriakidis, Civil Engineer, Dipl. Civil. Eng, M.Sc., is a Ph.D candidate at the Department of Architecture at the University of Cyprus and a researcher at the Energy & Environmental Design of Buildings Research Laboratory. Andreas Kyriakidis holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and a Master of Science Degree in Energy Technologies and Sustainable Design from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Cyprus. During his studies, he was awarded numerous academic scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including the Undergraduate and Doctoral studies Scholarship from Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation and the Doctoral Studies Scholarship from the University of Cyprus. His research interests cover various topics of Civil Engineering and Architecture Technology and focus on Energy, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Building Physics, Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Innovative & Sustainable Construction Components and Materials. He has participated in several national and European research programmes, while his research work has been published in refereed journals and conference proceedings. Andreas Kyriakidis is a Member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK).
